Grace & Cody | A Spring Wedding at Bella Collina | Kissimmee & Montverde, Florida
Some weddings feel like they were designed for photography. The light, the details, the emotion, the setting, everything comes together in a way that makes every frame feel intentional. Grace and Cody's spring 2026 wedding was exactly that kind of day. From the sacred ceremony at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Kissimmee to the breathtaking outdoor reception at Bella Collina in Montverde, every moment of their celebration carried meaning, beauty, and a warmth that was impossible not to feel behind the lens.
A Sacred Beginning at Corpus Christi Catholic Church
Grace and Cody began their wedding day the right way, with a traditional Catholic ceremony at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Celebration Avenue in Kissimmee, Florida. The church provided a stunning and meaningful backdrop for their vows, with the kind of reverence and architecture that reminds you why church weddings never go out of style. The ceremony was intimate, emotional, and exactly the foundation their marriage deserved.
As a wedding photographer who has had the privilege of shooting at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, I can tell you the light inside that space is something special. Every glance, every tear, every exchanged smile reads beautifully through the lens. Grace and Cody gave us everything to work with.
The Rolls Royce Moment
After the ceremony Grace and Cody made their way from Corpus Christi to Bella Collina in a classic Rolls Royce and yes, we stopped for photos. A vintage Rolls Royce against the Florida landscape is the kind of detail that elevates a wedding gallery from beautiful to unforgettable. The elegance of the car matched Grace and Cody's entire vision for the day and those portraits are some of my favorites from the entire wedding.
Bella Collina: One of Central Florida's Most Stunning Wedding Venues
If you have never been to Bella Collina in Montverde, Florida, let me paint the picture. Perched on one of the highest points in Central Florida with sweeping views of Lake Apopka and the rolling hills of the surrounding area, Bella Collina is unlike any other wedding venue in the Orlando market. It feels more like Tuscany than Florida and on a spring evening with the golden hour light rolling in, it is genuinely one of the most beautiful settings I have ever photographed a wedding in.
Grace and Cody chose an outdoor dinner style reception which meant long tables, candles, incredible floral arrangements, and guests surrounded by the natural beauty of the venue. There is something about a dinner style reception that feels grown up and elegant in a way that a traditional round table ballroom setup simply cannot match. Every detail was considered and every detail showed.
Sparks, a Harp, and a First Dance to Remember
The first dance at Grace and Cody's reception was a moment I will not forget. As they took the floor the venue erupted in sparks surrounding them from both sides creating a cinematic frame that looked like it was pulled from a movie. As a wedding photographer those are the moments you live for. Everything lined up perfectly and the resulting images speak for themselves.
Adding to the magic of the evening was a live harpist who set the tone throughout the reception with a soundtrack that perfectly matched the elegance of Bella Collina. If you are planning a wedding at Bella Collina and you are on the fence about live music, consider the harp. It transformed the atmosphere of the entire event in a way that no playlist ever could.
Why Bella Collina is One of My Favorite Venues to Photograph
I have photographed weddings at venues all across Central Florida and Tampa and Bella Collina consistently ranks among the most photogenic locations in the entire region. The elevated terrain means you get incredible sky in almost every wide shot. The Mediterranean architecture gives you texture and depth that photographs beautifully at any time of day. And the surrounding landscape of rolling hills and water views means golden hour portraits here are truly something else.
If you are planning a wedding at Bella Collina and are looking for a photographer who knows the venue, understands the light, and will make sure every detail of your day is documented beautifully, I would love to connect with you. Weddings by Ray serves couples throughout Central Florida, Orlando, and Tampa and Bella Collina is a venue I am always excited to return to.
A Note on Spring Weddings in Central Florida
Grace and Cody chose spring for their wedding and the timing could not have been more perfect. Spring in Central Florida brings softer light, lower humidity than the summer months, and lush greenery that makes outdoor venues like Bella Collina look their absolute best. If you are planning an outdoor wedding in Florida and have flexibility with your date, late March through May offers some of the best conditions of the entire year for outdoor photography.
Congratulations Grace & Cody
Photographing Grace and Cody's wedding from Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Kissimmee all the way through their stunning evening reception at Bella Collina was one of the highlights of my spring season. The love between them was real, their details were beautiful, and the day flowed with the kind of ease that only happens when two people are genuinely meant for each other. I am so grateful to have been trusted with documenting it.
