Love was in the air and happiness was captured. Danielle got photos she's wanted, the man she loves and a family bond, nothing can break. View the day behind my lens . . .
While as a destination photographer I cover many of the amazing wonders of New York State, this is one of my favorites times visiting Buffalo. Heather made me aware that I was now entering "Bills Country". The warm welcome was received well. Heather & Mike both have an amazing story that goes all the way back to school.
I enjoyed the presence of such a fun and interactive wedding party. If you ever plan on getting married, make sure you choose the funniest of your friends and people who truly make your relationship shine. The night was full of laughter, some happy tears and of course dancing. Nothing about this wedding was ordinary. The grand entrance was a football throw, Dad's speech became childhood memories and a singalong. Lastly, the first dance came later that evening, under the harvest moon as Heather had requested.
To summarize, Buffalo.. it's been fun. Heather & Mike.. Congratulations. Feel free to enjoy my personal favorite highlights of the night. - Yours truly - Ray.

Cold it was! Atleast for Shannon & Michael's Wedding. In 23 degree weather we completed a first look, wedding party photos and a ceremony. All within possibly an hour in a half. It was all well worth it for all parties involved. The outcome of the photos were fantastic and the bride and groom did absolutely amazing. Hot or cold, day or night.. Michael stood there and exchanged vows with his soon to be wife. As flurries came down in the beautiful back patio of the Arrowhead Lodge, Shannon and Michael both said I do.
The evening went on with laughter, cake cutting, dancing, and heart warming speeches. Enough of my story.. Here are some pictures to prove it.
Michelle & Eric could not have planned for a better October/Autumn themed wedding. In my career as a wedding photographer this has had to be one of the best organized weddings. I also feel we all lucked out with the weather. Quite cold, but worth it. On the way to Michelle's prep it was raining and we did see some flurries. As the day progressed, it cleared out and rained and that pattern continued for sometime.
Once it was time for the First Look, the sun decided to show and it went well. Followed by awesome coordinated wedding party photos. We also got a gift, a rainbow. The rainbow appeared right behind Michelle & Eric and served well for photos. The ceremony followed right after, and we made our way into the reception area (indoors). As soon as that happened, it poured. The night went along fine with all of the wedding events taking place and happy guests and family dancing away celebrating the marriage of Michelle and Eric.
Jessica & Matthew both on the outskirts of Syracuse New York, in Clay. Decided to hold a greatly planned October, Fall & Pumpkin themed ceremony on their beautiful land. The ceremony took place over the pond surrounded by family, friends, hay, pumpkins, orange, yellow and brown. Quite a bit cold, the sun showed true emotion for the special day.
After the ceremony was held, Bridal party photos were taken in the same area with beautiful views of Jessica's parents cabin and of course the scenery of fall coming along.
Flying in all the way from Texas, Linda & Jason arrived back home in New York to be married n front of many family and friends. The love story began in the upstate New York area, and continues in Texas.
We captured in Pedro's home (Linda's Uncle) lovely photos of Linda and her family who flew in from Chile witness the bride get ready to wed the love of her life.
The beauty of October yet the rain from the fall came upon us on Saturday October 4th 2015 at The beautiful "Six Mile Creek Vineyard" in Ithaca New York. The ceremony for Linda & Jason was supposed to take place inside of a Gazebo surrounded by the gardens and beauty of the Vineyard. The lovely deck with the same scenery as a backdrop was a fantastic alternative due to rain.
David an IT and Kasi a teacher both from Virginia decided to tie the knot back at her great grandmothers home. Getting to Scaife Farm in Williamsport, PA is no easy task, but once arriving it was all worth it. In the beautiful forestland of Williamsport, you will find a tiny home which holds rich history dating back to Kasi's great great grandmother. You can feel the history upon entering the small home and of course the creek behind it and beautiful surrounding land.
Kasi's idea of a rustic/bohemian theme fit perfectly with the decor of the tent, the wedding and the overall look.
From the quiet suburban area of Hillcrest, to the beautiful hills of Vestal back to Artists Row in Downtown Binghamton; Melissa and Lance had the time of their lives on one of the most important days to them. A custom and beautifuly decorated Atomic Tom's Gallery was the choice for the venue, along with a Cocktail reception in the next room.
Melissa & Lance are gamers by night and dentists by profession. I added a bit of a oral look to some of the images in the highlights below. The Bride & Groom both looking their best had very unique and quite funny vows for one another during the ceremony. I've never experienced a crowd chuckle so much. Lance's family very well oriented with Asian tradition, and Melissa and one of the greatest gowns I've seen. The reception had a range of dancy music (great playlist) and a perfect atmosphere for a few special drinks of the night and some Hors d'oeuvres. With a nice theme, along with a hint of Cats since both seem to share that passion. In the middle of a reception a random sick looking alleycat joined the guests right under a cart near the entrance. Sadly, the cat passed the very next day but it was a nice touch to this wedding. To summarize, I had a great time with Melissa and Lance, they are truly a fun, and very very funny lovely couple.
